The Afrobeats star has announced that he will participate in the upcoming 2023 elections in Nigeria.
Nigerian singer, songwriter and performer, Ayodegi Balogunpopularly known as WizkidHe has spoken about his plans for the upcoming general elections in Nigeria.
The Grammy-nominated singer, who although he rarely uses his music as a tool to speak out against the government, displays this part of his personality in physical form.
The Starboy Frontline Act was one of many Nigerians joining the #ENDSARS movement of 2020, a peaceful protest organized and led by Nigerian youths against police brutality and mismanagement that ended in the horrific massacre of some of these youths by the government at Lekki Toll Gate.

In a recent interview with the Guardian, Big Wiz, whose album “More Love, Less Ego” is expected to be released soon, announced that he is ready to take part in this election. And he said:
I’m about to go crazy about this election
All these old men are out of power this time. They need to go to the elderly home and relax.
