Davido’s management has come out to inform the public that the AWAY Festival which was scheduled to happen soon will be postponed. Read the full note here.
The management of mega Afrobeats company, Davido full name David Adeleke, issued a note addressing the public about the state of the upcoming AWAY Festival previously informing them that it has now been postponed.

According to the statement, Davido’s Are We African yet – AWAY Festival which was scheduled to take place on November 18 has been moved to 2023 while tickets already sold will remain valid.
“We have made the difficult but necessary decision to postpone the AWAY Festival until Saturday, November 18, 2023. It is imperative that Davido spends time with his family and loved ones at this time,” the note read.
The AWAY Festival was previously scheduled to take place at the 21,000-capacity State Farm Arena in Atlanta. This development comes after the tragic loss of his three-year-old son Ifeanyi in a swimming pool accident.
