Records don’t stop coming for Wizkid, as the talented singer breaks new ground for African music with his hit song “Essence”.
Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter and singer Ayodeji Balogun popularly known as Wizkid has achieved a new milestone in his career with his collaboration with Tems titled ‘Essence’ as it became the first African single to set an unprecedented record in the United States. .
“Essence” is officially the first and only song in history to be certified 3X Platinum by the RIAA after the hit single has sold over 3 million units in the US alone. Recordings of “Made In Lagos” as well as the hit song “Essence” continued to fall apart and achieve something to be commended as Big Wiz showed that with high quality music, the world will always be entertained.
“More Love Less Ego”, a project of the singer, will look to achieve and exceed all the goals set by Popsey’s fourth album himself, “More Love Less Ego”.
