Nigerian singers have been deservedly nominated for the 65th Grammy Awards.
Nigerian singers Burn Boy thames, And the Wizkid She is currently the subject of discussion after the Recording Academy announced the 2023 Grammy Award nominees.
The Grammy awardan award presented by the Recording Academy honoring “outstanding achievement in the music industry” in the United States and abroad, is scheduled for February 5, 2023, and on November 15, 2023, she puts up her nomination list.
Afro-fusion movie Burna Boy got nods for ‘I love Daminiin the category of “Best International Music Album” as well as “Last Last” for “Best International Performance.” Talented Nigerian singer Tems received three major nominations in the categories “Best Rap Song” and “Best Melodic Rap Performance” for her contribution to the successful collaboration with Future and Drake’s “Wait For U.” Tems also received another nomination for “Album Of The Year” as a featured artist on Beyoncé’s “Renaissance” album.
Wizkid, which lost out in the “Best World Music Performance” and “Best World Music Album” categories at the 64th Grammy Awards, missed out on the award’s 65th edition because it released no music in the calendar year the Grammys require for the 2023 edition.
