Tems has redefined the history of Nigerian music as Grammy Awards organizers have confirmed the list of nominees ahead of the 65th edition.
Tims changed the trajectory of Nigerian music as she became the first Nigerian female artist to receive Grammy Award nominations as a full list of nominees ahead of the 65th Grammy Awards to be held on February 5th, 2023.
Tems received two huge nominations for her contribution to the successful collaboration with Future and Drake titled Wait For U. The singer was nominated in the ‘Best Rap Song’ and ‘Best Melodic Rap Performance’ categories of the prestigious awards.
A big win for the singer who got many vocals trapped in the song after its release.
