Veteran Nigerian singer Timaya gave up-and-coming artist Remad the big thumbs up with an announcement he made about him and his art.

Timaya had shared his feelings on Rema in an interview on Cool FM after a conversation that detailed his collaboration on “Cold Outside” with BNXN fka Buju. The singer, who spoke of his admiration for BNXN’s talent, was then asked if there were any other New Age acts he’d like to work with. Timaya replied, “I must first of all, like you, like Rima, I am a fan of Rima. Of all the little boys, he is the best. Yes, Rima is their father.” He then referred to elements of his art saying “As if on purpose, his music, his stage performance…”
While Timaya hasn’t mentioned if he has anything in the works with Rema, he recently released new music called “Sweet Us.”
