The African arm of US distribution company and record label, Empire, has released the track listing for their upcoming African compilation album, Where did we come from It is set to feature top African acts such as Wande Coal, Olamide, Kizz Daniel, and more.

The album, which includes 15 tracks, features input from top African musicians and producers, from Blaizebeat to Philkeys and the Magicsticks. It has musicians such as Ghanaian Kumi Eugene, rapper Yau Glow, Keys Daniel with his single “Cough”, Wande Coal, Olamide, Black Sherif, Fireboy DML, BNXN as well as Asake and Tiwa Savage’s single “Loaded”. With three well-received singles, the album is set to be released on November 30th.
Empire originally signed a joint venture deal in 2020 with Olamide and his YBNL label, and earlier this year Empire Africa became a tangible arm of the record label, with a presence in Lagos, Nigeria. Currently they have music deals with YBNL acts as well as BNXN, LAX, and others.
