Occurring in the early hours of December 16, the third day of the singer’s performance at the nearly 5,000-capacity venue, the stampede was caused out of the venue by stranded showgoers who tried to aggressively force their way into the venue. Asake responded to the incident by issuing an apology to the fans, saying, “My heart goes out to everyone who was injured last night and causes any form of upset. I pray she gets better soon. I’m also in the process of communicating with individuals. I still don’t have the full briefing from the venue management themselves.” About what disrupted the entrance to Brixton Academy, but we are grateful that everything was peaceful at the end. Currently, while the show promoters; Kokobar also saddened the turnout for the event, and no explanation was given regarding the cause of the stampede. However, four showrunners were reported to be in critical condition and receiving hospital care.
