Ayra Starr was among the heavyweight Afrobeats acts at the two-day music festival.
Wonderful Nigerian Singer and Instrumentalist, Oyinkansola Sarah Adiribegbepopularly known as Ira StarAfrochella organizers have been slammed after she slipped and fell on stage during the 2022 gala.
The event, described as a celebration of diverse African culture and the vibrant work of African innovators and entrepreneurs, featured a two-day concert that began on December 28 and ends on December 29.
With artists like Burna Boy, Stonebwoy, Asake, Fireboy DML, Kwesi Arthur, and GyakieMavin’s star and singer, Ayra Starr, was also in the mix and delivered a comfortable performance on the first day of the two-day show.

However, while performing her trademark song “Won Da Moo”, the beautiful Ira Star fell on stage but soon got back up.
On social media after the performance, Aira implored the show’s organizers not to clean the stage before her performance. Describing the fall as painful and unnecessary, she wrote:
Afrochella next time you have to clean your stage after each performer performance, that fall was unnecessary and very painful
