Fireboy DML and Rema were both honored by the Music Accreditation Board of America, called the RIAA, for their achievements in 2022.
The Music Accreditation Board of America, the RIAA, has endorsed and recognized Fireboy DML and Rema for their achievements in 2022. The singers are included in the RIAA Class of 2022, a list of artists who received their first gold or platinum certification in the United States in 2022.
Rima earned his first gold certification in the US with his hit single “Calm Down” from his debut album, “Rave & Roses”. Fireboy DML also achieved its first gold certification in the United States with its worldwide smash hit “Peru”. Both artists are the only Nigerian artists to be made into the Music Certification Body’s Class of 2022.
