Afrobeats’ buzzwords are said to be on this year’s Coachella performer list.
African stars burna boy, tams, asaki, Others have been rumored to perform at the upcoming Coachella festival.
The annual music and arts festival that takes place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, in the Coachella Valley in the Colorado desert, will take center stage as usual from Friday, April 14th to Sunday, April 23rd, 2023, and reports and rumors about its musical artists are already making the rounds online.
Coachella, which previously featured African artists on its stage, gained more popularity in Nigeria in 2019 after Burna Boy caused a stir when his name in the lineup was announced but written in small print.

In a list that has surfaced online, Nigerian stars Burna Boy, Thames and Asaki, all stunned in 2022, have been bullied to perform at the festival, as well as the Ghanaian music sensation, Black sheriff.
The list also saw eg Justin Bieber, Bad BunnyAnd Frank Ocean as the flagship of the festival’s three days of musical performances.
