The director of Wizkid Sunday Are has responded to reports of the artist performing at a Peter Obi rally in Abuja ahead of the presidential election.
Sunday Are the manager of multiple award-winning singer-songwriter and instrumentalist Wizkid, took to his social media platform to respond to the circulating poster, stating that he will be appearing and performing at Peter Obi’s gathering in Abuja.
Sunday debunked the news and added that those responsible for the false information will be prosecuted according to the law.

He said he shared:
This is to inform the public that this event led by @avotujohnson1st is a SCAM!!! Wizkid and its management do not know anything about this event and, accordingly, will not perform at said event as claimed, so please beware of this poster and information from its organizers as Wizkid and its management will not be liable for any damages. Appropriate legal action against the persons responsible for the creation and dissemination of this false information is currently being explored.
