Nigerian talented singer AsakiThrough his administration, he responded to the news of his performance for a presidential candidate Peter Obigathering.
There was a flyer circulating on the Internet claiming that Asake, Wizkidand others will perform at Labor Party presidential candidate Peter Obi’s Abuja rally, which is scheduled to take place on 18 February 2022, which has now been debunked by the Asake and Wizkid management.

The news, which was revealed by Asake’s official Instagram news page, stated that the post was false and that the event organizer would face legal action. Read the post:

asakemusic and its management know nothing about this event and accordingly, will not perform at the said event as claimed, so please beware of this poster and the information from its organizers such as Asake and its management will not be liable for any damages.
Appropriate legal action against the persons responsible for the creation and dissemination of this false information is currently being explored.
