Burna Boy joined the elite class of artists, Wizkid, Davido, CKay and Tems, as the only Nigerian artists in history to achieve this.
Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido and CKay have set an incredible record in the US as the only Nigerian artists to have sold more than 1 million units in the US, according to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
Burna Boy is the latest addition to the list of artists who have already achieved this, being certified Platinum in the US by the RIAA on Thursday, January 26, 2023, after being released in August 2018. The song ‘Ye’ was certified Gold on May 3, 2021. .

Wizkid and Tems also received Platinum certification with the hit song “Essence”, CKay with the smashing “Love Nwantiti” and Davido with the classic “Fall”.
