
The singer and music executive defends one of its signatories over copyright infringement issues.
Nigerian singer, songwriter, entrepreneur and music executive, Uluwatosin Acibadpopularly known as Mr. Azzi, Puerto Rican rapper called Bad Bunny for copyright violations.
On Monday, February 6, 2023, the head of EmPawa (home to acts like Joeboy and many other talented African acts) took to Twitter to call out Bad Bunny for ripping a song by Joyboy Titled “Empty My Pocket”.
According to Eazi, the Grammy Award-winning Latin rapper recorded a new version of “Joeboy” without proper authorization. he wrote:
Yosanbenito, you need to tell your lawyer to stop messing around and make it clear that Joeboy is stealing your album

In an effort to prove he meant business, Mr. Eazy also turned to LinkedIn to file another complaint of copyright infringement, calling out Bad Bunny and his followers for negligence in due process.
Mr. Eazi also posted YouTube links to the aforementioned Joeboy song and the Bad Bunny version, the latter of which infringes the rights to the original, to support his claim.
Bad Bunny and his camp have not yet responded to Mr. Easy or Impawa on the present case.
