
South African police have released new updates regarding the shooting and killing of several AKA award-winning rappers.



South African police have revealed, according to BBC News, that the evidence collected and uncovered so far has shed further light on the brutal murder and shooting of several AKA award-winning rappers who were murdered outside a restaurant in Durban at the age of 35.
Police confirmed in a press conference that the rapper was assassinated when he was shot in a moment of rage with a shooter outside a restaurant in Durban. However, they confirmed that the perpetrators of the shooting had been identified, although they had not yet been arrested.

BBC News reported:
No arrests have yet been made.
But police say they know the identities of the “two shooters” and are still checking the identities of everyone at the scene in Durban that night.
Investigators are now using suspects’ data to piece together their contacts and movements in the lead-up to the killings
Police Chief General Mkhwanazi added:
“We know that the objective was to kill AKA first and that the second suspect could have killed anyone else [person] Because they fired a few shots – so anyone who was in the way could have been hit,”
