
The family of the South African rapper AKA, who passed away prematurely, has announced plans and arrangements for the icon’s burial.
The family of the multi-award-winning rapper AKA who died prematurely at the age of 35 has announced burial arrangements for the rapper amid a police investigation into his death.
The late rapper’s father, Tony Forbes, addressed the audience at a press conference on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, thanking them for their support while highlighting the burial plans for the late rapper. He said:
“We want to acknowledge the outpouring of love we’ve received since Kiernan’s passing. That love has extended to our families, colleagues, and friends. It’s really helped in terms of giving us comfort these past few days,”
Tony Forbes also revealed that a memorial service for the rapper who was an inspiration to many will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023.

a statement:
We hope to celebrate Kiernan’s life with those he touched and influenced through his music [career]. So his memorial will be open to the public and will also be broadcast online.”
