The singer is scheduled to perform his album “Timeless” for the first time in the motherland at the 50,000-capacity Tafawa Balewa Square Lagos on Sunday, April 23, 2023. During the event’s press conference, the singer spoke about plans for the event and more. Interesting things to look forward to.

In response to the question, Davido explained that he’s always been the one to keep his music happy and fun and that’s the mindset he brought to the “Timeless” album. He said:
There is emotion but not much emotion on the album. If you’ve been listening to Davido’s music over the years, I’ve always been a happy person whether I struggled with something or not.
In this aspect of my life, if I want to talk about it, there is a time for that but on this album that is not what I was going for.
