The DWM owner and actor, who is currently talking about the town after releasing his long-awaited studio album titled ‘Timeless’ which has gone on to dominate the music scene – both locally and internationally – has decided to happily stay put despite his recent loss.
The singer is scheduled to perform his album “Timeless” for the first time in the motherland at the 50,000-capacity Tafawa Balewa Square Lagos on Sunday, April 23, 2023. During the event’s press conference, the singer spoke about plans for the event and more. Interesting things to look forward to.
During the press conference, a reporter deviated from the main topic of the press conference and asked why the singer hadn’t aired more personal content on his new album.

In response to the question, Davido explained that he’s always been the one to keep his music happy and fun and that’s the mindset he brought to the “Timeless” album. He said:
There is emotion but not much emotion on the album. If you’ve been listening to Davido’s music over the years, I’ve always been a happy person whether I struggled with something or not.
In this aspect of my life, if I want to talk about it, there is a time for that but on this album that is not what I was going for.
