Roger revealed the motivation that led him to record the viral song Asiwaju, which topped the chart from December 2022 to 2023.
The talented singer, instrumentalist and songwriter, in a short interview with popular podcast player Adesope, revealed what inspired and motivated him to release Asiwaju in 2022. Roger opened up that he was angry at everyone and everything, and that was a huge driving force and inspiration behind the song.
Ruger, who performed impressively in Germany, also opened up about his plans to release a new album in 2023 as the singer kicked off the new year by launching a collaborative project with DJ Neptune.
‘Asiwaju’ held the number one spot for a total of four weeks on the Apple Music Top Songs Nigeria chart in December 2022, an achievement the singer was so proud of that he took to his social media platform to respond.
