Ayra reveals that she has always used the name Oyin which is her real name, but when she sat down with her team, Don Jazzy, Rema and others they thought about what stage name she should have. She reveals that she was going to go “Ira”, but many were pronouncing her as “Ira”, so she dropped the idea.
She opened that her mother advised her to pray for her because she wanted a name that meant something. Ayra revealed that she Googled the name “Ayra” in Arabic, and when she saw the meaning, everything fell into place for the “Al Qudra” singer.
