The growth of Afrobeats over the years has been impressive and according to reports and figures, the talented Nigerian singer and instrumentalist Rima is now the most successful Afrobeats artist of all time on the digital streaming platform with over 1.7 billion streams.
According to the website, Chartmasters Rema ranks 885th on the list with over 1,740,235,084 streams across all major credits, this is the highest ranking of any Afrobeats artist and Nigerian artist on the chart.
Wizkid comes in second with 1.738856303 billion streams on Spotify as well.
Reema also holds the record for the most streamed Nigerian album of all time on Spotify with the super version of his album “Rave & Roses” surpassing 1 billion streams.
The singer who recently confirmed that he will be auditioning for 02 Arena in November 2023 to provide the fans with a memorable night (Ravers) in concert.
