Fetty Wap was initially captured in October 2022 in New York, where he was assigned to perform at the Rolling Loud Festival. His performance was rejected after federal agents pounced on him charging him with one count of conspiracy to distribute and possess controlled substances.
The ‘Trap Queen’ rapper was released on bail but was later arrested after he reportedly showed a gun and threatened to kill someone during a call in 2022.

In an update on events, Wapp, who was charged with five other men in the drug trafficking syndicate, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute more than 500 grams of cocaine, which led to his six years in federal prison.
According to reports, the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York alleged that Viti Wapp and his clan “distributed more than 100 kilograms of cocaine, heroin, fentanyl, and crack cocaine across Long Island and New Jersey.”
