Nigerian singer, songwriter and instrumentalist Ace, Joseph Akinwale Akinfenwa Donospopularly known as Joeboy, He is currently the talk of the town due to his recent gesture of helping the fans.
The singer-songwriter, who is currently promoting his second studio album Body & Soul, which was released last month in an effort to ease the pain of Nigerians, has found an innovative way to do so.
While the 15-track album featuring heavyweights like CKay, BNXN, Odumodublvck, KemenaAnd Ludacris He continues to crunch the numbers, Joeboy has been in full swing, making sure the project is marketed properly.
In social media on Monday 12th June 2022, which is the country’s Democracy Day, the singer-songwriter announced his plans to soften the brunt of the increase in tour fares by providing free buses around select routes in Lagos, which are intended to run from morning to evening. In promoting his album in between, Joeboy branded buses with the same name as his new project. he wrote:
I know fuel subsidy is hard for everyone right now, so here is my little way to help. For the next three days, there will be free Body & Soul buses along the following routes between 8am and 5pm. Enjoy the ride, love you guys

Buses are expected to run on routes such as Lekki, Jakande, Iyana Oworo, Unilag Gate, Yaba, Oshodi and Obalande. As expected, the gesture attracted a lot of backlash, with a large number of Nigerians taking to social media to commend the singer for the initiative.
