The show’s organizers announced that local authorities played a role in the show’s eventual cancellation.
Nigerian heavyweight singer, songwriter and performer Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burn Boy He is currently under criticism for canceling his concert in the Netherlands after keeping fans waiting for several hours, and in regards to this, the event organizers have released a statement.
Burna Boy, who reportedly sold out the event, left many aggrieved fans waiting for several hours, only to later cancel the show. Issuing an apology, the Grammy-winning singer revealed why the show was no longer going.
Speaking from another angle, event organizers said, Bon Bon Entertainmentwho have worked in Europe for many years and worked with such heavyweights as Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Black Coffee, Mr. Easy, Rima, And a host of others, they also took to social media to apologize to fans and shed more light on the disappointment.

According to the organization, they (including the Burna Boy team) tried everything they could until the last minute, but the show just couldn’t hold. They went on to say that the local authorities also played a role in the cancellation, as they did not allow them to continue the event because they thought it was “irresponsible”.
Just as Burna Boy mentioned in their statement, Bon Bon Entertainment also clarified that information about a new date will be sent out.
