
BTS’s Jung Kook set a new record for all-Korean artists on the charts in Nigeria with his new song “Seven,” which features Latto.
One of the members of the biggest boy band in the world of music today, BTS, Jungkookachieved another milestone on the Spotify Daily Chart for Nigeria with his new single Seven which features an American rapper lato.
Jungkook He became the first Korean solo artist to debut two songs in the top 50 of Nigeria’s Spotify Top Songs Daily Chart. His first appearance was the World Cup song for the 2022 competition in Qatar, dreamers, which reached No. 41 with over 10,000 streams. His second appearance was Seven, which reached number 46 with over 28,000 streams on its first day of release.
This is quite a feat for the singer as it debuted on the chart along with the members as solo artists and as a group. BTS and its members remain the first and only Korean artists to debut more than 10 songs on Spotify’s daily and weekly charts in Nigeria.
The song peaked at #1 and #2 on the iTunes chart and is currently trending Nigeria on YouTube. It also holds spots on the Apple Music Top Songs chart for Pop.
This is quite an achievement as fans await the release of his debut album, although the official release date is yet to be confirmed. Fans of the talented group (ARMY) continued to demonstrate the group’s dominance across the world and Africa was not left out either.
