Davido reacts as 'Unavailable' becomes first Afrobeats song to hit this record in 2023

Davido responded with his viral single “Unavailable” from his album Timeless, marking a new record for Afrobeats songs released in 2023.

David Adeleke, known as davido, He recently took to his social media platform to express his happiness with the success of his hit song, not available. The track became the first Afrobeats song released in 2023 to surpass 50 million streams on the popular digital streaming platform, Spotify.

The news was received with great enthusiasm by fans and music lovers around the world, who were raving about the catchy beats and catchy lyrics of the song. Davido’s talent and creativity as a singer and performer continues to garner him numerous awards and accolades, cementing his place as one of the most prominent voices in the afrobeats genre.

The hit song which is one of the tracks from his fourth studio album released in March 2023 is slowly finding its way into the hearts of fans and celebrities too as people joined the viral challenge on Tik Tok for the song. One such celebrity, Mr. Easy, was seen doing the challenge with his partner, Timmy Otedola.

The singer recently announced his donation of more than 230 million naira to the less privileged on his social media platform on Thursday 20th July 2023, in a post on his Twitter platform where he revealed that the reason for this donation which first happened on his birthday a few years back, was because he was always looking for a way to use his platform to give help and support to other people who need it.

His latest announcement was met with fan excitement as was his social media post is reading, “I’ve always wanted to use my platform to serve others. So thankful that through your generosity I’ve been able to do so. We recently disbursed over N200m to several orphanages in Nigeria, a tradition that started a few years ago on my birthday. Thank you to everyone who donated. With your help, we’re changing lives. That’s what I mean when I say we rise up by lifting others up. God bless you all!”.
